Experienced Attorney and Mediator
I am attorney Margrett Skinner. I bring compassion, a spirit of resolution and more than three decades of legal experience to every case. My established law practice includes the areas of divorce and family law, personal injury and probate matters.
I was born in Georgia, moving to Illinois as a child. After working for a large Chicago law firm for 14 years, I entered law school to become a lawyer. I returned to Georgia to complete my law degree at Emory University in 1986. After practicing in Atlanta for 11 years, I opened her own practice in Macon, Georgia in 1997. My practice serves clients in Bibb County and the surrounding counties of Middle Georgia.
I am also a trained mediator, mediating family law and probate matters. As an attorney, I offer reasonable rates and strive to resolve matters efficiently. Although I do not handle cases for Legal Services, I will take cases on a sliding fee scale whenever a child's welfare is at stake.
